Transitional Dress for Fall | kendi everyday

Hair Extension Kendi is back! I have been growing out my hair for this moment. You may remember when I first got extensions back in 2022 (and fully meant to post about it + the process, so I’m going to this time around) and these are actually the same extensions. I ended up swapping these out for longer ones later in the year and these were in really good condition still. So the new/old hair says hello again!

(I wanted to mention this so you didn’t think I had a super power that allowed me to grow my hair overnight! My super power is overthinking and second guessing, what’s yours?)

Just when I think I’m over dress season — I find one perfect for late summer into fall. This dress is a lovely fabric that almost feels…corrugated? I know there is probably a better term for this but it’s not pleated but it does have physical stripes in the fabric. Some fabric expert help me out! The light brown hue with the black flowers is perfect for this in between time I was talking about the other day — not fall but over summer. I am in the large of this dress and it’s a great fit for a size 8/10. There is some room as well, so it runs just a touch generously!

I found this dress at Nordstrom. You can find it here. Side note — you can wear a regular bra with this as well as a strapless.

Let’s talk about the shoes. I am over sandals TBH so I’ve been reaching for my little ballet flats. For a second I thought this was going to go in the ‘wrong shoe theory’ category, but honestly these are absolutely the right shoes for this look. This pair from Madewell is a perfect go-to right now. We are celebrating our 1 year anniversary together as well, so I can absolutely recommend this pair. I wear my typical size, feels TTS for me. Find them here!
