Last night, Chalamet began a new chapter in the jacket’s long history. Sitting courtside at the Lakers game alongside French actor Stéphane Bak, Chalamet did not attempt a Bob Dylan cosplay, but rather incorporated the piece seamlessly into his own wardrobe. He wore a black sweater with beige and white stripes, a pair of outsized black pants, and black Nikes.
Styled by Taylor McNeill, the actor added movie star-worthy accessories, including yellow-lensed sunglasses, a gold Cartier Baignoire bracelet watch, and a Cartier diamond tennis necklace that occasionally emerged from underneath his sweater. Only when he sat forward in his seat could one see the telltale zipper detail on the back of his arm.

Dressed like himself—with the addition of a historic jacket—Timothée Chalamet just set the example for how to pay homage with fashion.
