The 2025 awards season continues on tonight with the 2025 National Board of Review Gala. The annual ceremony—hosted by Willie Geist in New York City this year—will celebrate excellence in filmmaking across several categories, including best picture, director, and actors. The event is set to draw all of the expected Oscar frontrunners this year (including Maria’s Angelina Jolie), and special awards will be handed out to honorees such as Babygirl’s Nicole Kidman (best actress), Anora’s Mikey Madison (breakthrough performance), and Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, among others.
