Spring has officially sprung! While that may be sad news for lovers of winter outerwear and layering, Hollywood A-listers are already embracing the new season on the red carpets. The best dressed stars of the week were those who slipped into colorful and lightweight silhouettes that are stylishly ready for warmer weather. This included everything from gauzy and sheer dresses, to sharp tailoring and suits.
Take actor Danielle Brooks, who was spotted in L.A. wearing a semi-sheer, swishy Jean Paul Gaultier dress in a vibrant multicolor print. It’s the perfect spring dress that doesn’t require much styling—let an impactful frock do all the talking! Same goes for Lady Gaga and her fire-red McQueen gown, which hit all the right notes of dark romance. (Cue her song—Ga Ga, oh la la!).
White Lotus star Leslie Bibb went for a more polished approach to spring dressing, wearing a three-piece Thom Browne suit while doing press in New York City. (A far cry from her character on the show, who favors slinky summer dresses.) Her White Lotus co-star Michelle Monaghan also looked chic in a Patou coat with an oversized collar. Sure, her choice to don a heavier coat may be clinging onto notes of winter dressing—but lest we not forget it is a transitional season, meaning you never know when a cooler day will require a jacket. Don’t retire those statement coats just yet!
