We might not be at the end of 2024 yet, but as a jewellery fiend (or magpie), I’ve already been deciphering what might be the biggest trends to come in 2025. The SS25 runways spoke loudly and introduced a slew of notable jewellery trends, with the majority of designers featuring fresh, daring adornments that swung high and low. From Valentino’s beguiling ear cuffs to Schiaparelli’s playful 20th-century inspired clasp chokers and mystical sea shell drops, courtesy of Chloé, there were plenty of pretty details that caught my eye at the shows. And although the aesthetics vary, themes of whimsicality and nostalgia dominated.
You may notice how spirited jewellery is becoming by the year, and that’s a recurring theme for 2025. 2024 shone a light on bold, unapologetic styles and colour, organic textures and weighty jewels which will continue to be be lauded for next spring.
And imagine my delight when I noticed that some of the most stylish people I know are already wearing the trends that I predict will be big next year, giving them further clout and staying power. So, without further ado, continue reading to discover the full extent of the jewellery trends I—and a slew of other stylish people—think will be big in 2025.
JEWELLERY TRENDS 2025:
1. Cuff it
Style Notes: Like studs, cuff bracelets are doubling and trebling in size. Using Tiffany & Co’s Pereti bracelet as a benchmark, it’s certain designers have been inspired by chunky form waved bangles.

Tiffany & Co.
Elsa Peretti® Small Bone Cuff
Fans of cuffs will no doubt be enamoured by Tiffany’s Peretti bone cuff. It’s a work of art.
2. Molten Pearls
Style Notes: Pearls have been worn for millennia and twenty-first century fashion has inspired a new wave (even in wave form). I’ve studied the evolution of pearls intently and the once preppy and uniform round has taken many shapes over the years. In my analysis of Pearl Gone Bad, the reimagined styles for 2024 are unpredictable and boast a contemporary lilt. The juxtaposition between the milky organic component paired with bashed, jaunty and unique shapes offers something fresh and inspired.

3. According to the Cord
Style Notes: Makeshift-style necklaces are undeniably noughties. The pendant on a chain garnered popularity once more in 2024 and according to the trends, it’ll continue well into 2025. Georgio Armani’s spring-summer 1999 runway serves as a huge source of inspiration where this trend is concerned as the fashion house debuted highly coveted jewels to pair with fluid designs.

4. Bountiful Beads
Style Notes: The beads trend is a knock-on effect from the boho trend we saw dominate in 2024. In 2025, play into the look with layers of refined, earthy and polished jewels encased in gold and silver, ideally in unusual shapes and tones to help bring that unexpected element to the piece.

5. Elaborate Ear Cuffs
Style Notes: Designers including Valentino and Completed Works have spearheaded the dramatic effect of decorating ears from lobe to helix. While you may be familiar with a graduated (and refined) ear stack, these aforementioned brands are adhering to the “more is more” approach, with bejewelled iterations. From now on you’ll spot oversized ear cuffs dripping in diamonds and pearls.

Bold studs have since cemented their place in many accessory lover’s collections and shapeshifted into various forms from floral to seashell-inspired pieces.

7. Chunky Chains
Style Notes: Think doorknocker earrings but in necklace form. The chunkier the better—from dolce vita inspired gold pendants to layers upon layers of chains. If it’s heavy weight, we’ll take it.
