There has never been a single day in my life where I’ve thought to myself, “I really want to wear all beige today.” But today, Rosé is making me rethink my dismissiveness.
The Blackpink singer was spotted on New York’s Upper East Side yesterday wearing the Bode Calypso tank from the fall 2024 collection. Based on a 1960s vest, the square-neck top was made of crocheted lamé and hand-appliquéd with rows of pearls, beads, and bright green marquis-shaped paillettes. She paired it with a suede micro miniskirt adorned with studs and a long fringe that hung from the belt. Rosé kept the beige theme going with a pair of thigh-high socks and Saint Laurent penny loafers.
But, as she so astutely proved, there are plenty of ways to wear beige. She initially styled her ’fit with Ray-Ban Wayfarers, an oversized MM6 leather biker jacket, and—for a pop of color—a blue crocheted Bode tote bag. Later on, however, she switched things up, restyling her outfit with The Row’s Kongis bomber jacket and their black Nuance shoulder bag.
