We had a chilly snap, so it’s back to jackets and long pants today! I styled these cargo pants with my New Balance 530 sneakers the other day and loved it so much I decided to repeat the look today.
Okay, allow me to do a little show and tell:
Meet my new Madewell tote!
I snagged the Madewell Handwoven Leather Tote during their Insider sale in March, and it finally came in! I’m so glad I got it because this Coffee Bean color was so popular that it’s backordered until July (noooooo). However, Nordstrom has the Desert Camel color in stock right now, and it’s equally gorgeous.
This bag is a GEM. When I pulled it out of the box, that amazing leather smell wafted out with it. I love the shape — it’s somehow slouchy and structured at the same time. And the size is generous without being so big it’s difficult to wrangle. I can fit my 13″ laptop, book, water bottle, and purse essentials with room to spare.
I’m excited to style it with my sportier pieces — I think it’ll elevate them and create some interesting contrast. And I’m also excited to pair it with some of my black summer dresses — I think black and brown is one of the chicest color combos.
