Tis the season to talk about supplements! I don’t know about you but back to school has hit the Adams household and I am trying everything I can to keep everyone in check. I want to start this post by saying that I rely heavily on my diet to do most of the work. I don’t LOVE taking pills, medicine or anything outside of what I’m already putting in my body. A reminder that diet really is EVERYTHING and supplements are here to add a little boost. That being said, we all need a boost from time to time so I wanted to share what I genuinely take (and give my kids!) consistently to help take care of myself and my family.
To keep my kids immune systems up, I give them their daily probiotic, these vitamin C gummies and Armra colostrum (in cold liquid). I try to make sure they are getting lots of citrus on top of all of this but these 3 just serve as an extra boost. I really want to get consistent on using colostrum because I do think it works well as an immune system boost. Dave and I take these encapsulated colostrum pills (as well as the Armra!) and these Vitamin C packets when we feel any sort of sickness coming on. Also, Instant Hydration electrolytes every single day. It is made with Celtic Salt (rather than table salt which my old faithful Liquid IV uses) which means you also get 83 added minerals with so many benefits. It’s like wellness from the ocean + hydration.
Dave and I both take SEED every day. It is a probiotic and prebiotic all in one with a special via-cap technology which means it can survive your digestive tract (heat, oxygen, acids) to get right to the root of your gut where the really work needs to be done. It is the BEST. I notice my bloat is way down and my body operates much more efficiently when I take this every day.
I’ve started taking Aminos and Creatine every day. I just mix a scoop with my water in the mornings. I have noticed way more energy, less brain fog and it says it helps with lean muscle mass which I can’t really speak to yet. I feel like my workouts are more efficient and just overall feel better!
These on top of eating more whole foods feels like a good equation for our family! I have gotten questions about it recently, since sharing on Instagram, and thought I’d leave the info here.
