These white overalls are so summer-y that I *thought* I’d worn ’em for the last time a couple weeks ago — but here I am styling them for fall! Yay!
To tone down the summer vibes, I surrounded them with all the cozy, pumpkin-spice-season details I could: slouchy knit socks, Birkenstock clogs, a chocolate brown tote, and a ribbed knit sweater.
I spotted this gem of a striped sweater during a recent meander around Target, and I was so drawn to the Emily in Paris energy it was giving.
And the quality! So good for the price. It’s ever so soft. It’s not black and white — it’s black and taupe, which feels like such a thoughtful design detail. Plus, all the stripes line up at the seams (!!). I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to how it holds up, but I plan to wash on cold and then lay flat to dry.
Anyway, I’m excited that I found a new way to wear my white overalls into fall. Try it yourself — pick one summer item from your closet and surround it with cozy items. Let me know what happens!
