Millie Bobby Brown and husband Jake Bongiovi only made their red carpet debut as a married couple earlier this week at the 2025 SAG Awards. But the couple, who married in secret in May 2024, are certainly making up for lost time with their latest appearance.
Stepping out for the premiere of MBB’s latest film The Electric State in Madrid, the couple both looked like they were having fun with their style. Styled by Ryan Young, Brown wore a sheer, pale blue beaded Giorgio Armani dress paired with a silk navy shawl—which is actually the same outfit Gwyneth Paltrow wore at the 1998 New York premiere of her movie Shakespeare in Love. (Six years before Brown was born). Brown posted both her own and Paltrow’s look to Instagram on a two-image carousel, and tagged the actor too as her reference. She wore her bleached blonde hair long in tousled, old Hollywood glam curls, and a thickly striped French manicure.

Bongiovi on the other hand opted for a more classic look that spoke to the heydays of his father, Jon Bon Jovi, wearing a black leather jacket and crisp white t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown textured boots, as well as black sunglasses. He wore his hair coiffed and waxed, flipped in a side part. The couple’s red carpet/date night MO? Glam Hollywood star wife, husband-in-a-rock-band.
Earlier in the week, Brown chose to find more inspiration in Pamela Anderson for the film’s premiere in Los Angeles. She wore a ’90s-esque up-do with her hair piled high, a tousled set of bangs a la Baywatch. Hair has become quite the experiment, having just yesterday given the space buns hairstyle an elevated spin.
The press tour for The Electric State presses on, with more couple style iterations and Millie Bobby Brown’s experiments in style to await.
