Meghann Fahy Thinks About Jennifer Coolidge—and Contraception—Every Time She Moisturizes

While divulging her beauty secrets to Vogue, Meghann Fahy let us in on a juicy exchange she once had with Jennifer Coolidge. After cleansing, dousing her skin with vitamin C, and patting on a smidge of eye cream, the Drop star prepares to finish her skin-care regime with Paula’s Choice Essential Glow Moisturizer SPF 30.

Holding up the coral-hued tube, Fahy says: “Jennifer Coolidge told me when we were shooting White Lotus that it sounded like a pregnancy foam—Paula’s Choice—and I think about that when I put it on.”

Still, the Massachusetts native is undeterred in her commitment to the antioxidant-infused salve. “What I love about it is (a) it has sunscreen in it and (b) once it’s rubbed in—and it doesn’t look like I have zinc all over me—it really gives the skin a nice glow,” she says.

The product’s illuminating properties come in particularly handy on days when Fahy’s feeling low-key. “Because this makes my skin kind of glowy, if I’m not wearing makeup and I put this on, I still kind of feel like I’ve done something,” she says. Another tip for looking luminous on (mostly) makeup-free days: a touch of Victoria Beckham Beauty highlighter around the eyes. “I’m kind of obsessed with this,” she says, clutching the gilded tube. “I will put this on sometimes even if I don’t have makeup on.”

Today, however, Fahy is wearing makeup, which leads her to another sponge-related bit of intel. While using her fingers to apply Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation, the 34-year-old says: “I probably should be using one of those cool-girl sponges [to apply this], but I don’t. And this is Vogue. I have to tell the truth to Vogue.”
