“My day-to-day style is very simple,” Meghann Fahy tells Vogue. “I’m a jeans and a T-shirt girl. I love boots and sneakers. I like to feel grounded and comfortable—it’s the best way for me to feel confident.” But for the premiere of her new film, Drop, Fahy kept her jeans and tees in her closet, opting instead for high-octane glamour.
The actor, who captured our hearts as Sutton on The Bold Type and further cemented her star status as Daphne on season two of The White Lotus, turned to Ludovic de Saint Sernin to help her meet the movie star moment. “My stylist, Thomas Carter Phillips, pulled it,” she says. “I’ve admired [de Saint Sernin’s] work, so I was thrilled to wear one of his designs.”

They landed on a champagne iteration of the opening look from his spring 2025 collection—a drapey yet body-conscious sequined dress complete with a plunging neckline, open back, and train. “What drew me to the look was the shape and movement of the dress, the detail in the front and back, and the illusion of the sheerness of it,” Fahy adds. She accented her sparkly dress with Cartier jewelry and Manolo Blahniks.
A premiere day is “usually pretty fast-paced and jam-packed with action and FUN,” Fahy says. But ahead of the Drop carpet, she still managed to find a moment for herself. “I like to get ready for a big event by drinking lots of water and listening to music that makes me feel cozy while I’m prepping for the craziness and excitement of the evening,” she says.
