Man Dip, the Best Gameday Appetizer Recipe — Hello Adams Family

the best football appetizer recipe, man dip

Man Dip doesn’t need much explanation. It is the best gameday appetizer recipe! Dave introduced this sausage and cheese bomb into my life when we met 16 years ago and it has been his favorite party trick ever since. I don’t know where the name Man Dip originated but let’s just say it is an instant HIT amongst all men (and let’s be honest, women, too). The ultimate football appetizer and I wanted to share just in time for the Super Bowl next week.

The best part of this recipe is that you can jazz it up however you please! Add jalapeños, rotel tomatoes, diced chilis – whatever your little heart desires. I will say this recipe is the perfect amount of spice to make it kid friendly.

Man Dip Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork sausage, spicy or mild (I use spicy)
1 8oz block of cream cheese
12 oz of velveeta cheese, cubed
2 tbsp pimentos

Brown your sausage in a pan. Add your cream cheese and velveeta cheese to the pan and mix until everything is melted together. Add your pimentos and combine. Transfer the dip to a dish that can go into the oven (you’ll want to reheat if you’re serving later, it is best super melty!) and serve with tortilla chips! *to reheat, preheat your oven to 250F and bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
