Reality star and beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, who showed up in one of fashion’s best couture collaborations. Her black, body-hugging scaled gown—complete with a dramatic spiked skirt—was the brainchild of two iconic designers, debuting a few seasons back on the spring 2023 runways.
So, who made Jenner’s edgy frock? It’s Look 35 from Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring 2023 couture collection. That season, the legendary fashion designer invited Haider Ackermann to be a guest designer and put his own stamp on the Gaultier look; The end result saw sharp tailoring and clean draping take center stage, making for the perfect collision of drama and minimalism. Jenner’s striking look is a prime representation of the collection—turning heads while serving subdued elegance. She let the dress shine completely on its own, safe for a pair of pointy strappy pumps (a signature Kylie shoe).
