It’s hard not to think of Isabel Marant and give yourself a jumpscare thinking of the footwear the French brand heralded in the early ’00s—the wedge sneaker has been trying to make a comeback. Thankfully, the studded heels that Moss has donned don’t instil the same fear. They’re slouchy and sexy, and speak to Marant’s contemporary stylistic codes and sensibilities that revel in uncompromising feminine strength—and, of course, celebrate what creative director Kim Bekker calls “the super leggy.”
Moss is now the face of Marant’s spring summer 2025 campaign, in which she is described as the “perfect embodiment of the house’s effortless allure.”

The previous day, Moss delved further into the Boho revival with a pair of clompy platform mules from Stella McCartney to sit front row at the designer’s Fall 2025 show. She paired the noughties nostalgia shoe with skinny jeans and a leather jacket for maximum effect.
So what’s next for Kate Moss? The aforementioned wedge sneaker was never her style, but slouchy silhouettes and platform stompers feel like they could become a part of her regular shoe rotation once again.
