Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence.
The No Hard Feelings and Hunger Games actor has welcomed her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, according to People. The news comes after weeks of speculation, as Lawrence has regularly been seen out and about in New York City.
Lawrence exclusively confirmed her pregnancy back in October to Vogue. A month later, she showed off her baby bump at the Governors Award in a custom bodycon Bottega Veneta gown.
Lawrence and Maroney also share a two-year-old son, Cy. (He is named after postwar American painter Cy Twombly, one of Maroney’s favorite artists.) They married back in October 2019 at the Belcourt mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. Wedding guests included Emma Stone, Adele, and Amy Schumer.
In 2022, she opened up about motherhood to Vogue. “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, Now is day one of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors,” she said.
Lawrence also added how it deepened her ability to love: “My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that,” she says.
Over the next few months, Jennifer Lawrence will be both busy with her family and her career. She recently wrapped Lynne Ramsay’s Die, My Love, opposite Robert Pattinson, and continues to produce films with her production company Excellent Cadaver.
