I recently met with a personal stylist to help me fill in some gaps in my wardrobe. In general, I’ve been feeling like my style either sways way too casual (activewear and pajamas) or novelty. I realized that I don’t have a lot of elevated basics that feel more put together than your basic tee and jeans. Leave it to J.Crew’s October Collection to help me fill in the gaps.

Two items this stylist mentioned I need in my closet (and truthfully, two items I don’t reach for enough): a white button down and a blazer. This button down is the coolest ever.
J.Crew’s newest collection is filled with classic pieces with a twist. I also got these black lace trimmed pants (I would size down) and I can’t wait to wear them for the holidays! And I can’t emphasize enough how much I love this little leopard bag. I would have never thought I’d love the shape of it so much! It’s so fun and the perfect pop of leopard for fall.
