As a New Yorker for many years now, Irina Shayk has perfected the art of city slicker style. The model is often spotted out and about in the streets of Manhattan wearing sleek, head-to-toe black outfits—the signature look of any cool girl in the city. Her rich mom style is especially enviable—right down to her chic maxi dresses, designer bags, and perfect fall boots. But we’re particularly intrigued by her latest ensemble, worn while photographed running errands earlier this morning: Shayk paired a classic uptown bag with a more downtown-worthy outfit, perfectly merging elegance with edge.
The star’s uptown bag was a luxurious Hermès Kelly, one of her most-worn bags. (She also has it in red.) The sleek, more structured counterpart to a Birkin, the bag is timeless and has been worn by style icons like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly (hence its name). It’s an uptown staple you’re always bound to see one in the Upper East Side. Shayk, however, juxtaposed the elegance of the bag with an edgier ensemble, pairing it with a black turtleneck sweater, a leather maxi skirt, knee boots, and sporty shades.
