I have never been one to stick to a theme when it comes to holiday decor (or decor in general). I’m sort of “I see it, I like it, I want it,” kinda gal. It serves me well and then other times everything sort of looks like a hodge podge of style. When it comes to holiday decor I’m fine with it because MORE IS MORE when it comes to the holidays, you know? Especially this year. We need it.
I usually wait to decorate until after Thanksgiving but our window between Thanksgiving and Christmas is so short this year. I decided to have one living area be happy and cheery with this bauble garland and these wreaths (I’m sort of DYING for this gorgeous wreath which is on sale). The other living area will be a little more homey with faux garland, mini bottle brush trees – warmth and woodsy inspired. Apparently people who decorate for the holidays early are happier so I am leaning in.
