I have been a long time fan of Hill House Home and everything they do. I have partnered with the label in the past to help support a launch or two, but I was thrilled when they asked me to join them at the Dunlin on John’s Island to shoot and style the resort collection. The collection consists of eleven styles – five women’s dresses, one pice of swim, two accessories and three pieces for littles!
I love that this collection is a mix of tried and true Hill House silhouettes you love and new, innovative styles that are sure to becomes bestsellers. The collection has a little bit of everything from feminine prints to crochet to new lengths and sleeve shapes! Below I am walking through the women’s styles and how I styled them for the season…
THE ELLIE NAP DRESS
Of course it wouldn’t be a Hill House drop without the Ellie nap dress! This season it comes in the beautiful paradise floral print that combines a dusty rose shade and chartreuse – two of my favorite hues. I wore it back to velvet mary janes and added a tulle skirt for a bit of pop and volume. Shop it here.
THE NATHALIE DRESS
This mini is new on the scene. It is a great length, has stunning bell sleeve and an unexpected open back. For resort this style is great back to sandals for a casual look, heels to dress it up or even brown boots to get more seasonal wear. I wore it back to a navy blazer, navy clutch and easy mules. The crochet fabrication is beautiful and I love the combination of so many colors. Shop it here.
THE SERAPHINA MINI NAP DRESS
Loving the paradise floral but you are more of a mini gal? They have you covered. The Seraphina mini has a tiered skirt, adjustable straps and a smocked bodice. I actually styled this a few different ways, but loved draping this sweater over my shoulders and adding a stack of necklaces to add a little interest! Shop it here.
THE ELIZA DRESS
I am not supposed to pick favorites, but this dress mighttttttt be the winner in my eyes. I love the open crochet knit and the use of browns and tans. This comes with a wonderful slip, but can also be worn as a great cover up. I styled it with one of my favorite jackets, 70s inspired frames and easy flats. Shop it here.
THE MATILDA DRESS

The Matilda dress has all the right coverage without feeling frumpy. It combines a super full midi skirt, more fitted bodice and perfect puff sleeves! I went a little more western with this look and added a pair of ankle cowboy boots, but this would also look darling with a pair of pumps. Shop it here.
THE GIANA SWIMSUIT

One piece swimsuits are my jam and this one is amazing. I love the fit, the print (of course) and the thickness. There is nothing worse than a paper thin piece of swim. I would pair it back to this pareo for my next vacation! Shop it here!
