As a beauty editor, the semi-annual Sephora Savings Event isn’t just any old sale; it’s an event that’s important enough to be marked down in my calendar alongside my appointments and professional deadlines. While I’ll gladly pay full price for my favorite products (and often do both IRL and online), the sale gives me a little more financial freedom to add one or two (or five) extra products to my cart.
Here’s the thing, though. The sale is only on for a few more days, and many people are down to the wire, which is why I created an editor-approved short list of the products I think are *actually* worth buying. It’s the exact same short list I sent to three people who texted me in full panic, asking what they should buy before the sale ends.
For context, here are the details. Through April 14, Sephora Rouge members can get 20% off, VIB members get 15% off, and Insiders get 10% off with the code SAVEMORE at checkout. You can also score 30% off all Sephora Collection products. Since we’re in a serious shopping time crunch, let’s cut to the chase. Keep scrolling to see my personal shopping list!
LANEIGE
Lip Sleeping Mask in Peach Iced Tea
Let’s start with an iconic product—Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask. I apply this faithfully every night before I go to sleep, and my lips are always plump, soft, and moisturized (AKA lipstick-ready) come morning. If I were you, I’d snag a tiny tub of the Peach Iced Tea one. It’s fruity, summery, and a total delight to use before bed.
Haus Labs
Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation
I give this foundation credit for tricking people into thinking I have perfect skin. Seriously…it delivers a flawless, buttery smooth base for the rest of my makeup. It’s also non-comedogenic and reduces redness thanks to fermented arnica, making it perfect for people with acne and redness-prone skin.
Fable & Mane
Shine Hair Mask
Fable & Mane’s HoliRoots Hair Mask ($36) has been a staple in my shower for years because it smells incredible and moisturizes the eff out of my dry, damaged hair. Lately, though, I’ve been swapping it out for the new Shine Hair Mask. It gives me shiny, expensive-looking hair that could fool anyone into thinking I just left the salon post-hair gloss. Needless to say, I highly recommend it.
Henry Rose
Mustang Sally Body Spray
Don’t even get me started on Henry Rose fragrances…I love so many of them for so many different reasons, but lately, I’ve been spritzing this one more times than not. In my opinion, it’s the perfect summer scent. It was created to smell like “blooming orange tree orchards of Valencia, kissed by the Mediterranean breeze.” Yeah…sold.
Ultra Violette
Future Screen SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Serum
I heard about this sunscreen from Who What Wear’s senior beauty editor, Jamie. It was originally only available in Australia and Europe but has since launched Stateside (much to every beauty editor’s delight). The super lightweight mineral SPF has a serum-like texture that melts into the skin and protects against sun damage. It’s nearly undetectable on the skin and plays well with makeup. Trust me when I say you should stock up on this before summer.
Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare
Derminfusions Fill + Repair Eye Cream
One of my New Year’s resolutions was to use eye cream more consistently. As someone who’s turning 30 in less than a month, it’s kind of necessary. I don’t want to use any old eye cream, though. I want to use this new one from Dr. Dennis Gross. It’s probably the closest any eye cream has ever come to replicating the results of under-eye filler. Thanks to two weights of hyaluronic acid, a plumping peptide complex, and kakadu plum, it visibly fills, firms, brightens, and lifts the eye area.
Patrick Ta
Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo
You can’t convince me that Patrick Ta didn’t nail it with this blush duo. Both the cream and powder formulas are highly pigmented, easily buildable, and blend out like a dream. I always get compliments on my makeup when I wear it. It’s literal perfection.
Grande Cosmetics
GrandeLASH – MD Lash Enhancing Serum
For full, soft, and fluttery lashes, you need a lash serum that *actually* works. This one is proven to deliver noticeable results in 4-6 weeks. That’s just in time for summer…Just sayin’. Don’t forget about the matching Brow Serum ($66), either.
The 7 Virtues
Clementine Dream Eau De Parfum With Vanilla
This is the newest scent from the clean fragrance brand The 7 Virtues. It’s been described as “Italian citrus grove meets French Riviera.” With notes of mandarin, cassis, magnolia, and vanilla, it’s summer in a bottle. Read my full review.
Kosas
Revealer Extra Bright Serum-Powered Color Corrector
I have dark circles—like, really dark circles. These new color correctors from Kosas have been helping me disguise them in a flash. The full-coverage formula is like auto-correct for darkness, while serum-grade ingredients help brighten and de-puff tired eyes.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Impeccable Blurring Second-Skin Matte Foundation
I know I already recommended the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, but as a beauty editor, I can’t resist a new product launch, so I also want to snag a bottle of this new Anastasia Beverly Hills formula. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve heard good things. It offers medium-to-full coverage and a blurred, velvety finish—it’s not cakey, old-school matte; it’s modern “cloud skin” matte. While the Haus Labs formula is my go-to for daily wear, I can see this one becoming my new night-out foundation.
