Harris Reed‘s theatrical spring/summer 2025 show, which kicked off London Fashion Week last night, honed in on 19th-century motifs. Makeup artist Sofia Tilbury was inspired by Harris’s demi couture world, she told Vogue. “At the heart of the beauty look are wide-eyed blue and bronze eyes, paired with muted doll-like lips and healthy, glowing skin,” she said.
Starting with a dewy base, Tilbury “drenched the skin with Magic Water Cream, and topped it with Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation.” Makeup was set in place using Airbrush Flawless Finish powder. As for the bold eyes, which were the focus of the look? “The color used carefully depended on each look and the models’ skin tones.” The ethereal blue hue was cherry picked from a palette due to be released next year, while the shimmery golden bronze was plucked from the bestselling Queen of Glow Luxury Eyeshadow Palette.

The Madame Alexander-like effect was further emphasized by layers and layers of Charlotte Tilbury’s new Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara, to create a waxy, vinyl black finish. Lashes were also pinched with tweezers to create clumps, with individual extensions added to achieve an elongated appearance.
Models’ rounded cupids’ bows were created with a blend of three different Lip Cheat shades, Iconic Nude, Foxy Brown, and Pillow Talk, and finished with a pop of the Collagen Lip Bath Gloss in the middle. “Overall, the look is very striking,” Tilbury said, noting how black and white eyeliner drawn across the waterline also made the models’ eyes appear bigger and rounder.
