On December 12th, Google Creator Labs launched its 9th season, featuring outstanding photographers such as Aidan Cullen, Andre D. Wagner, Anthony Prince Leslie, Campbell Addy, Cruz Valdez, Dana Scruggs, Gabriel Moses, Justin French, Kennedi Carter, Lelanie Foster, Myles Loftin, Texas Isaiah, Shikeith, and many more.
Created through a partnership between SN37 and Google, Creator Labs supports emerging talents in crafting new cultural narratives using Google Pixel devices. Over the past five years, the program’s first eight seasons facilitated the creation of more than 100 personal projects by over 35 photographers, enabling them to produce innovative works. In this ninth season, the artists explore the theme “the magic we make,” approaching it through diverse perspectives and practices, all while utilising Pixel’s advanced AI-backed camera.
This year, Google Creator Labs expanded to Japan, with Piczo, who used the Pixel’s latest Feature Drop to photograph underwater, and to Germany, with Elizaveta Porodina, known from her work on major campaigns and cover stories for multiple magazines, who showcased her oneiric, delicate style.
