Be it jelly shoes, a slip skirt, or an accent sweater, the actor stayed loyal to reds of every variety. But lately, as everyone’s affections have turned to red’s cousin oxblood, Lawrence is doing a complete 180.
Over the past few months, the expectant mother has turned her allegiance to blue. While she’s worn more muted shades, Lawrence has seemed especially fond of bolder hues. Today, however, she donned the loudest blue to date in a vibrant cobalt sweater while on a walk in New York City. She added to her attention-grabbing look with a leopard print coat from By Malene Birger. Lawrence kept the rest of her look lowkey in an off-white cloche, oatmeal scarf, billowing black trousers, and black ballet flats.
It seems like Lawrence is looking into the crystal ball when it comes to color trends. The spring 2025 season was chock full of electric blues, from jackets at Chloé and Balenciaga, to dresses at Valentino and Schiaparelli. While fresh-off-the-runway pieces remain out of reach to most, Jennifer Lawrence is modeling a more accessible way to test out new trends.
