With the holiday season well on its way and festive events filling the calendar, I’m reminded how much I rely on solid basics to get me through the day to day. Elevated essentials that I can count on to make me look and feel pulled together through mundane tasks (or days that turn into more!). I was evaluating my closet the other day and pulled out my most worn items. It is so important to have pieces in your closet that you know you can count on when you’re in a pinch. Here are some of my favorite fall basics to carry you through the season…
My Favorite Fall Basics
I wear a denim shirt at least 2x a week! Whether it is with jeans, corduroys, tucked into a skirt or over leggings. It is the perfect elevated basic.
Cool denim is having a moment! A new pair of jeans is something I can always justify and this pair is one of my new favorites for the season. They instantly make even a white tee look cool.
I have always been a ballet flat girlie and love seeing them so in style this season. I had this silver pair last year and wore them to death so I bought a fresh pair for this season. Silver has become a fun neutral in my closet!
It is amazing how much a layered necklace situation elevates your outfit. Our charms are the perfect addition to your already existing stack (and I love that you can add it to a necklace you already have!)
I love this coat for fall! One side is great for day to day and the other side is elevated and fun. I love a coat that does double duty.
I have this cardigan in 3 colors. It is truly the perfect, slightly oversized, effortless and classic cardigan. I wear a small.
I love the Adidas Handball Spezial Sneakers. The suede softens them a bit and they the slightest life in the sole. Definitely a cool sneaker!
Mansur Gavriel makes some of my favorite designer handbags under $1000. This luxe green suede and slouchy silhouette is a hit this season but would carry you well into winter months, too.
This $18 tee is the BEST. It washes well, wears well and is the perfect weight. I have a lot of white tees and this is the one I reach for the most.
