Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
All around me are signs of spring, from the last pools of melting ice on the sidewalk to the new-arrivals sections at my favorite retailers, yet my attention is fully zeroed in on all things fall 2025. With fashion month in full swing, I’ve been reporting on everything the runways have been presenting us with, and being so obsessive about fall fashion means that my shopping cart has been filling with a lot of key next-season buys. From the breaking trends the New York shows gave us (think fringe, brooches, and tassels) to the sophisticated new silhouettes that the Milan and London runways put forth (think draped dresses and sophisticated suiting)—there’s so much to discuss.
I’m usually ahead of the curve, but this season, I’m getting way ahead by shopping the fall/winter 2025 runways in real time. In case you’re following fashion month as closely as I am or simply curious about which items are making my early-bird shopping list, continue on to discover every fashion find that taps into the biggest runway trends for $350 or less.
MANGO
Openwork Knit Dress With Fringes
Elevated, effortless fringe details are already set to be one of the biggest trends of fall.
Reformation
Payton Stretch Bootie
I can’t believe these are under $300—they look just as good as the pairs from Khaite and Dries Van Noten.
Massimo Dutti
Burgundy Trench Coat in Crinkle Fabric
Prada’s runway continued to explore the idea of the unfinished, including intentional wrinkling and crinkled texture.
Max Mara
Tassel Detailed Belt
Whether they were tied around maxi coats or strung through the belt loops on trousers, I spotted similar rope belts all over the runways.
ZARA
Side Stripe Knit Pants
Tory Burch paired track pants with a luxurious fur coat, and I’ll be thinking about that combination for a while.
Jenny Bird
Lisieux Brooch
The way to make your scarf and cape coats look new for next season? Add a sleek brooch to cinch them at the shoulder.
ZARA
Faux Fur Long Coat Limited Edition
There were very few collections where fur outerwear didn’t show up, from Fendi and Prada to Altuzarra.
Banana Republic
Embossed Leather Skinny Belt
The color and croc embossing make this look like a runway piece.
Stuart Weitzman
Loralei Mary Jane
I have my eye on these Mary Janes to re-create Bally’s look 10 with a leather bomber jacket and creased trousers.
Fall 2025 is shaping up to be the season of the subtle statement piece, and this Zara top is just right.
Maje
Shirt With Removable Tie
There have been tons of fresh layering ideas, but designers have been especially fond of using a shirt and tie as the base to a cool layered look.
J.Crew
Gwen Lace-Trim Slip Skirt in Textured Satin
Romantic lace is shaping up to be a huge theme—I’ll be buying this editor-loved skirt to tap into the look.
Jeffrey Campbell
Shamble Over the Knee Boot
I’m sorry, or you’re welcome—thigh-high boots are a thing again.
Mango
Rigid Textured Necklace
Altuzarra styled many of the looks with sleek collar necklaces, and that has sent me down a rabbit hole to find similar ones.
Brave Pudding
Hampton Strolls Cashmere Sock Shoe
On emerging New York–based brand TWP’s runway, elegant silk and sequin looks were finished with these exact cashmere sock shoes.
TnA
Polartec Thermal Pro 1/2 Sweater
Style yours atop a shirt and tie for a very Sandy Liang moment.
J.Crew
Brushed Cashmere Sweater Shell
Layering a button-down shirt underneath this shrunken sweater-vest would be a very wise thing to do.
Glove shoes were inescapable this season, and these flats are a more approachable—but still forward—take.
