Another day, another celebrity joins what we’re lovingly calling “Team Bob.” What was thought to be just the haircut of spring 2024 is shaping up to be simply the haircut of the year. Just in the last month, Nicola Peltz-Beckham (sporting a chop reminiscent of her mother-in-law’s iconic Posh Spice chop), Selena Gomez, and Beyoncé have sheared up and joined the short hair club. And as of today, the team has another new recruit: Natalie Portman.
In Paris for soccer’s prestigious Ballon d’Or Ceremony, the actor (and co-owner of Angel City FC, Los Angeles’s professional women’s soccer team!) walked the red carpet with a new ‘do. Portman chose this moment to debut her new ’do: cut to a chin-skimming length and worn with a natural curl and parted to the side. The classic, no-fuss bob, quite similar to the one the star wore in her recent Miss Dior campaign, was chopped by Parisian hairstylist Philippe Mensah.
