Legend has it that actor Julia Roberts booked her first major film role, Daisy in Mystic Pizza, because of her gorgeous red hair. Here’s the thing: Julia isn’t actually a redhead and had just recently dyed her hair—and the rest is history.
While Julia may currently be a blonde, her niece Emma Roberts has just followed in her aunt’s ‘80s footsteps and gone red. Hairstylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri took Emma from blonde to a shade she’s calling “sunrise red” earlier this week. It’s a multifaceted, warm copper red that is given even more depth by the layers in the haircut.
