New York Fashion Week is in full swing, and looks are being served both on and off the runway. Last night at Collina Strada’s matriarchy-focused fall show, actor-singer Dove Cameron gave us an aspirational look that could actually be done at home.
Cameron’s hair was brushed up into sleek space buns, with an unexpected accessory adorning them: the OG Apple headphones wrapped around each bun like twine holding together a bunch of flowers. It has us wondering: Will headphones become the new hair ties?
“Dove has been really focused on the intersection of fashion and technology, especially in relation to her upcoming album,” says Jacob Rozenberg, who used Schwarzkopf products to get the look. “She came to me with the idea of incorporating wired headphones into her hair as a statement, giving something old a fresh, unexpected life.”

The modern look was finished off with fresh skin and a glossy brown lip by makeup artist Kale Teter.
