Last week I mentioned that I have been feeling “in a rut” with my style. My wardrobe reads very novelty. I am not great at buying things that I necessarily need. Instead, I’m like a kid in a candy shop and gravitate towards the sparkly finds. Which is fun! I feel like my closet is full of fun but not good basics. I actually booked a personal styling session last week and realized I need to invest in more elevated basics. Things like a nice white button down, classic blazer, layers that really elevate basics. But, it’s funny because when I wear the basics on my stories (like this great pointelle tee – I sized up), everyone goes nuts. A reminder that the basics are not to be overlooked.
The amount of wear I have gotten out of these Gap Barrel jeans. Truly some of my favorites! They are so comfortable and sit so nicely on the leg. Really into them paired with my Adidas sneakers (I want this color!!).
