Whoops, didn’t realize I posted almost this exact outfit one month ago! But, hey, outfit repeating is a good thing, and forgetting you’ve worn something recently is perfectly normal. 🙂
You’re probably tired of seeing me post another big-sweater-mini-skirt outfit by now, but this outfit formula represents a BREAKTHROUGH for me when it comes to fall style. For years, I’ve dreaded the onset of chilly weather, because I’ve struggled to find my footing with fall/winter style. I’m a summer gal at heart — give me a minimalist sundress and flip flops and I feel so at home. Despite my best efforts, I’ve never quite been able to achieve that feeling in a sweater and jeans.
But this formula makes me feel like myself *and* it works for the weather where I live in Texas. Finding success with this fit makes me feel excited to continue putting in the effort when it comes to my winter style.
Take extra good care of yourself today. While I really just want the holidays to be all glimmer-y lights and sweet memories, Christmas can be a time of heightened emotions and pressure. Be gentle with yourself. <3
And in case you missed it, I posted a fun holiday travel capsule earlier this week. Hopefully it’ll help you find a little ease, at least when it comes to packing for the holidays.
