Professor Bella Hadid has some papers to submit. And some skin parfums to push for gifting season. Good thing the supermodel can just hit up her own Ôrebella Alchemy Library pop-up in New York this weekend and get everything ticked off.
Heading out in the city on Friday evening (December 13), Hadid wore a form-fitting double denim look, comprised of a contoured, corsetted jacket and an eyelet studded pencil skirt. As always, she proves herself an icon of the archive, wearing 2002 Roberto Cavalli. She toted her beloved oversized black croc Saint Laurent Sac de Jour bag, and wore knee-high black leather stiletto boots. She’s once again donned her favored Bayonetta glasses. The overall look keeps this week’s geek chic theme going: Hadid was spotted just yesterday in another pair of studious specs, and again in a co-ord, with a tan suede blazer and matching flared trousers.
While a full denim ’fit brings to mind the Westerncore Bella has spent much of the year in—as well as her recent appearance on Yellowstone—this look instead takes inspiration from your local librarian, with its prim collar and neckline, and a fitted pencil skirt to meet the pointy-toed, “I mean business” boots. A suitably capacious bag can hold several skin parfum gift sets and some student papers.
The last few months have been heavy on the light washes, but Hadid instead leaned into a seasonal shade of indigo denim. A dark denim renaissance seems to be taking place: Hailey Bieber loves a dark wash barrel jean, and Kendall Jenner debuted a double denim header of her own, with an indigo jean jacket and matching straight-leg jeans.
Hadid has been all over New York this week. Party pictures and videos from the opening night of Ôrebella’s Alchemy Library saw Hadid and friends among the books and skin parfums, with gift wrapping, party games, and festive drinks. No mustiness here. If you just so happen to be in the city, remember to bring your library card.
