This time of year, I get so taken with the colors around me. It’s been months of yellow grass and grey skies, and so the tender shoots of lime green feel dazzling against the bright blue sky.
I want to wrap myself in these colors — blue and green.
After a day spent working on my phone or computer, my favorite thing is to grab a Pamplemousse La Croix and head to the backyard to survey the new growth. I look for tiny new buds and take note of the little changes. As much as I crave spring, sometimes the seasonal shift can feel unsettling to me. If I don’t stop and really notice where things are in their blooming process, it makes me feel anxious and untethered, like time is slipping by too quickly. But noticing is medicine, especially this time of year — it helps ground me through the changes.
