Although I haven’t owned anything with leopard print in a hot minute (for some reason I wasn’t previously swayed by the “mob wife” trend), I knew I had to finally jump on the trending print this season when I saw this Dhruv Kapoor mini dress on Anthropologie. At first glance, the fabric looks textured, but the dress is actually made of a unique scuba-like material with padded shoulder straps that are comfortable and stretchy. I decided to style this statement dress with complementary browns, blacks, creams, and golds, so I paired it with Pilcro’s oversized faux leather jacket. I love the worn-in look and pointed collar, but this jacket is super oversized so consider sizing down.
For accessories, I opted for Anthropologie’s chunky pop tab necklace, which happens to be one of my favorite under-$100 August finds. It’s so unique yet versatile, and I find that it adds an edgy elegance to any top or dress. I also went for the retailer’s new matte black faux leather shoulder bag and matte black square-toed ballet flats (to hop on the Mary Janes trend). And to fall-ify my outfit a bit more, I added cream crew socks (which comes in a pack with a red pair, which I will also definitely be wearing for a pop of color throughout the season).
