Editor’s Note: Trained at the Royal Danish Academy, Anne Sofie Madsen ran her namesake label from 2011 to 2017, when she put it on pause. For fall 2025, she is picking up where she left off, and to mark her return to fashion we are adding some of Madsen’s past collections to the Vogue Runway archive.
The heroine of this collection—the last before Anne Sofie Madsen paused her label—is “a tomboy fairytale princess navigating the intricacies of everyday life.” Building on the dichotomy between the extraordinary and the quotidian, roomy tailored pieces, many in crisp cotton khaki, share space with more extravagant designs, some of which make use of draping and suspension.
