As we welcome spring, we bid farewell to Milan Fashion Week and offer an enthusiastic—if ever so slightly exhausted—bonjour to Paris Fashion Week. Despite the slightly subdued energy of this season (perhaps a result of the ongoing game of creative director musical chairs), Paris promises to live up to its reputation as the most star-studded stop on the fashion month calendar.
Anticipation is high in Paris, what with Haider Ackermann’s much discussed debut at Tom Ford imminent, along with Louise Trotter’s first collection since being appointed creative director at Bottega Veneta. Sarah Burton is also preparing to unveil her first Givenchy collection, and Matthieu Blazy will give a breathless industry their first look at his vision for Chanel.
