Ariana Grande’s Old Hollywood reign continues. It started earlier this weekend at the Palm Springs Film Festival, where the actor, singer, and beauty brand founder debuted her new bangs. We wouldn’t be surprised if Audrey Hepburn, who had a similar side-swept baby bang look, was the reference for the haircut.
Tonight, for the 82nd Golden Globes, the baby bangs were still going strong, along with the Hollywood references, too. Grande, styled by Mimi Cutrell, wore a vintage yellow Givenchy gown from 1966 (inspired by the Yellow Brick Road, obviously) and Swarovski gems.
Grande’s glam for the evening was courtesy of her brand r.e.m. Beauty, appropriately mixing in some products from the very special Wicked Collection, like the Galinda Glow Drops. From r.e.m.’s main collection, Grande wore Hypernova Blush in Pinking of You and Practically Permanent Lip Stain Marker in shade Booked and Busy, which was topped with the Plumping Gloss in shade Pink Razor.
“We channeled Old Hollywood glamour for Ariana’s look tonight with a bold ’60s twist,” makeup artist Michael Anthony tells Vogue of Grande’s look. “It’s a bright matte lid, brown floating crease, a pop of high pink blush and highlight, and a nude glossy lip for the perfect vintage-inspired look.”
