As someone who loves wearing makeup and following makeup trends but hates feeling like I have a mask on my face, I’ve always been very picky about which new beauty products I want to add to my everyday routine. In particular, as someone who has both eczema and very dry skin, I’m on a constant hunt for products that work with my skin, not against it. So after months of seeing Saie Beauty on my TikTok For You Page, along with the rave reviews of its skincare-infused products, I finally decided to give the brand a try.
Editorial assistant, Brittany Davy wears a face of Saie Beauty.
Built around the idea that makeup should not only look and feel good but actually be good for you as well, Saie Beauty checks every box on my wish list. The brand’s make-up formulas are packed with skin-loving ingredients that are aimed to give a natural, healthy-looking finish that enhances your features instead of hiding them—think invisible makeup products at their best. There’s none of the heavy contouring or full-coverage formulas that often leave me feeling too unlike myself. Rather, Saie products embrace enhancing natural beauty and letting that take centre stage. Not to mention that the brand prioritises vegan and cruelty-free formulations that everyone can use.
Whether you’re getting ready for a day in the office, running errands or you simply prefer a more pared-back look for even the most formal of occasions, I tried a full face of Saie. After trying and testing it all, these are the nine best Saie beauty products that you should consider adding to your current makeup collection.
1. Saie Glowy Super Gel
Packed with glycerin and vitamin C, Saie Glowy Super Gel aims to brighten and soften skin, leaving your face with a lit-from-within glow. I used it as an illuminating primer under the below skin tint and then used it again as a highlight on the tip of my nose and cheekbones as the last step in my makeup routine.
You can also mix this glowy formula in with your foundation; however, in the future, I’m most likely to use this product on its own on my no-makeup days to give my skin some life. I used the shade Sunglow, which is perfect for deeper skin tones like mine, but the brand currently offers this hydrating formula in Starglow, Warmglow and Roseglow as well.
For
- Gives skin and natural, healthy glow
Against
- Not suitable for those with oily skin
2. Saie Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer
Saie
Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer
Saie’s Slip Tint is a lightweight skin tint that gives you low-level coverage with a dewy, skin-like finish. Made with a blend of hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and pansy flower, the formula is the perfect hydrating formula for dry skin. I picked up the shade 9.5, which is for deep skin tones with rich red undertones. I usually opt for a neutral-golden undertone; however, due to the light coverage, it blended into my skin perfectly. I especially appreciated the fact that I couldn’t feel the skin tint sitting on my face, an issue I usually have with formulas this creamy.
Against
- Low coverage might not cover up all blemishes
3. Saie Slip Tint Radiant All-Over Concealer
Saie
Slip Tint Radiant All-Over Concealer
I’m not usually the biggest fan of concealer because it tends to crease under my eye, but the Slip Tint Radiant All-Over concealer was able to cover my dark circles without settling into fine lines or caking up. Available in 25 shades, catering to a wide range of complexions and undertones, this medium-coverage formula minimises visible hyperpigmentation whilst remaining creamy and easy to blend into the skin.
For
- Provides a good amount of coverage
Against
- Small amount of product for the price
4. Saie Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder
Saie
Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder
As someone with dry skin, I tend to shy away from most loose and pressed powders. That being said, the Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder has made a strong case to convert me. I love that it’s able to set my makeup without stealing the glow that I want my makeup to have. With squalane as a key ingredient, this powder melted into my skin as the day went on without settling into dry patches on my skin. I’ll be honest, if you have super dry skin, this isn’t necessarily a product you need for every day, however, I’ll personally be using this for evenings out to set my heavier makeup looks without dehydrating my skin.
For
- A great formula for those with dry skin
Against
- Packaging can cause leaking
5. Saie Dew Blush
Even if you haven’t yet tried any product from the Saie brand, you’ve likely seen this dewy blusher go viral on TikTok. Providing the cheeks with a soft flush of colour, this easy-to-blend blush has had rave reviews ever since it dropped. And the best part? I’ve seen almost every shade used on a wide range of different skin tones, proving how versatile it is.
For
- Gives the cheeks a dewy, lit-from-within finish
Against
- Low coverage for those looking for a heavier blush look
6. Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer
Saie
Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer
I’ll be honest, I haven’t tried many cream bronzers that I didn’t end up falling in love with, but this particular formula won me over due to its colour. I have a neutral undertone, which means that anything described as a red-toned bronzer usually gets a big “no’ from me. However, despite how the shade is described, ‘Deep Bronze’ blends out perfectly onto my skin without looking too red or warm on my cheeks. My only note would be that if you are looking for a red-toned bronzer, this wouldn’t be the choice for you.
Against
- The shade descriptions may not be accurate
7. Saie Brush Set
Although I’m very willing to spend loads on my actual make-up products, I usually cheap out when it comes to my brushes. But believe me when I say that investing in high-quality brushes will make a real difference in how your make-up comes out. Featuring four brushes, Saie’s brush set has something for every step of your routine. Firstly, I used the Base brush to apply my skin tint, the Fluffy brush for my setting powder, the Big brush for my bronzer, and then used one end of the Double brush for my blush and the smaller side to blend out my concealer. The bristles are completely vegan, and therefore synthetic, but they genuinely felt as soft as animal-hair brushes. The perfect brush set for those of us looking to be more conscious about buying cruelty-free products.
For
- Soft and gentle on the skin
Against
- Significantly more expensive than other synthetic brushes on the market
8. Saie Mascara 101
I have naturally limp eyelashes, so when I look for a mascara it’s key that the formula can lengthen without clumping or making my lashes look too heavy. If you also prefer a more natural look, Saie’s Mascara 101 only needs one or two coats to give you more volume. This mascara also comes with a distinct ‘jellyfish tip’ on the end of the wand that allows me to get to the hard-to-reach areas like the inside corners of my eyes.
For
- Only needs one or two coats to make an impact
Against
- Not ideal for those looking for super-voluminous lashes
9. Saie Glossybounce Hydrating Lip Oil
Saie
Glossybounce Hydrating Lip Oil
If you love an ultra-glossy lip like I do, the Glossybounce hydrating lip oil is definitely one to consider. Packed with coconut oil, jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid, this product has the slip of a lip oil, the high shine finish of a gloss and the cushion of a lip balm all in one. I picked up the shade ‘Shake’ which has a light gold shimmer. I loved how glossy it made my lips look without being sticky, and the sheer coverage blended perfectly with my Rhode lip liner. I’ll be picking up the shades, ‘Push’, ‘Kiss’ and ‘Remix’ for summer now.
For
- Gives the lips a high-shine finish
Against
- More expensive than other lip oils that give similar results
