Young Miko Trades the Stage for the Front Row at Paris Fashion Week

With her cropped windbreaker and trendy hime haircut, Young Miko looked anything but a fashion show newbie when she arrived at Miu Miu’s fall 2025 runway in Paris. While the Puerto Rican singer and rapper is used to being front and center, the show marked the first time she’s sat front row during fashion week—which felt like a welcome change of pace.

“Performances usually include vocal warm-ups, stretching, entering a certain mentality, and getting ready to give it your all. Entering a fashion show where my only role was to enjoy the show was so much fun,” Miko—née María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona—tells Vogue. For her, this experience was all about soaking in the novelty. “This is actually my first fashion show, so preparing was so fun and relaxing in comparison to a performance. I listened to music and was just excited to sit down, meet new people I admire, and enjoy fashion.”

Miko’s show look was in line with her personal style, which she describes as “androgynous and unpredictable.” Comfort was also a top priority. “The lovely Miu Miu team picked out some options for me before arriving, and I was instantly in love with what they envisioned,” she says. While the pantless look was on the table, she ended up opting for a pair of belted pants instead. “We went with the trousers since I had never worn a look like that before and I felt really comfortable and elegant. I loved every second.”

Even though Young Miko’s first show fell at the tail-end of a long fall 2025 season, she still has plenty on her docket while in Paris: “I’m going to shop of course, take a walk through the city and enjoy good restaurants!”
