On the Podcast: Vogue Editors Discuss the Fall 2025 Season Highlights in London, Milan, and Paris

As a very exciting fashion month comes to a close—there’s little over a week left of Paris Fashion Week—Nicole Phelps called upon Vogue’s own Fashion Features Director Mark Holgate, and Vogue France’s newly-minted head of editorial content Claire Thomson-Jonville to discuss their favorite moments of the European shows so far. And where to start? In London, a literal knight sat front row at Daniel Lee’s latest Burberry show; in Milan, Dolce & Gabbana got out of their comfort zone, staging an enormous shows in the streets of Milan and offering a lineup full of cargo pants and low-rise jeans; and in Paris three storied labels were showing debut collections by a newly-installed creative director. Sarah Burton is introducing her vision of Givenchy to the world today, and Dries Van Noten’s Julian Klausner, and Tom Ford’s Haider Ackermann had the added pressure of having the founding designers sitting front row, taking it all in.

“Let’s be supportive. It’s hard to step into those shoes. I think [Haider] was really chic and cool and gave us what we wanted with some surprises,” said Thomson-Jonville. “I want Haider to win, and Julien as well. I’m sort of in this phase now where there’s been so many musical chairs, and we want people to win and we want to do well.” Listen to their conversation below.
