The best thing about being a woman, is the prerogative to have a little fun—so said Shania Twain in 1997. In 2025, Millie Bobby Brown steps up to the mantle to defy internet bullies and keep serving her maximalist, experimental style—in a look indebted to Twain.
The actor stepped out in London wearing quadruple leopard print: A pillbox hat, a blazer dress, platform shoes, and a matching umbrella. Very “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.” She wore her recently redone blonde hair in sleek waves, and kept jewelry to a minimum with one gold ring and her wedding ring.
It feels like a particularly defiant look, after Brown spoke out against recent social media and media frenzy over her appearance.

“[This is] bigger than just me, something that affects every young woman who grows up under public scrutiny,” she said in a recent Instagram video. “I think it’s necessary to speak up about this. I started in this industry when I was 10 years old. I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow with me. Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things season one. And because I don’t, I’m now a target.”
“Disillusioned people can’t handle seeing a girl become a woman on her terms, not theirs. I refuse to apologize for growing up,” she continued. “I refuse to make myself smaller to fit the unrealistic expectations of people who can’t handle seeing a girl become a woman. I will not be shamed for how I look, how I dress, or how I present myself. We have become a society where it’s so much easier to criticize than it is to pay a compliment. Why is the knee-jerk reaction to say something horrible rather than to say something nice?
“If you have a problem with that, I have to wonder—what is it that actually makes you so uncomfortable? Let’s do better. Not just for me, but for every young girl who deserves to grow up without fear of being torn apart for simply existing.”

Brown has been spending time in London for the promo tour of her film The Electric State. She also appeared at the 2025 Brit Awards, where she presented the Global Success Award to Sabrina Carpenter. Brown wore a hooded, sheer metallic dress by Annie’s Ibiza—channeling golden ’00s era Christina Aguilera in the process. Other looks have been straight up references: For the Madrid premiere of The Electric State, she wore a vintage Giorgio Armani dress that Gwyneth Paltrow famously wore at the 1998 New York premiere of Shakespeare in Love. “You wore it best!” Paltrow commented in response on Instagram. Another blonde bombshell up-do and archival Versace gold look saw Brown tag Pamela Anderson as her style inspiration.
