My signature look: I never leave the house without a broad-shouldered jacket or blazer—maybe with a turtleneck and a silk midi skirt for a sleek, minimalist vibe—along with vintage jewelry, a watch, and a gold accent belt for a touch of nostalgia and elegance.
My favorite designers: A short list: Jacquemus, Sabyasachi, Yves Saint Laurent, Maison Tai, Gaurav Gupta, Schiaparelli, and Iris Van Herpen.
On my fashion wish list: Anything from John Galliano’s Dior era, Le Cambon 25 in merlot from Manu Atelier, Charu rings from Ivar Fine Jewelry, and the caramel long-sleeve turtleneck from Fallon & Ava.
A fun fact about me: I am one of the co-founders of South Asian Fashion Week, which launched in New York City in 2022. My longtime friend Shipra Sharma and I set out to create a more inclusive platform in the fashion industry with a focus on diversity and representation. Our goal is to provide designers of South Asian descent the opportunity to expand their brands and make a lasting impact in the North American market.
