Guests for the evening at the British fish and chip shop turned Spanish tapas bar included Sienna Miller, Tish Weinstock, Joséphine de la Baume, Alexis Taylor, Tess McMillan, and Celestine Cooney, who drank engronis and martinis and snacked on pintxos (a style of snacks and bites from the Basque Country) like boquerones and marinated peppers, before a dinner that included whole seabass, battered prawns, and what may be the best chips in London, Tollington’s chips bravas. (This writer can corroborate that, having immediately ordered seconds of the chip wedges smothered in the sweet, smokey, paprika-heavy sauce on one recent visit).
