Free People is one of the few brands I’ve had in my closet for well over a decade—truly. There are many brands I’ve outgrown over the years, but I still always find so many treasures at Free People, even though I’m not exactly in my early twenties anymore. And the offerings have gotten better and better over the years (trust me—I shop a lot).
When you think of Free People, there’s a good chance you don’t think of it outside of the casual, California girl boho aesthetic that its campaigns and styling of its models capture so well. But as someone who wouldn’t say that aesthetic describes me (my style leans much more classic), some of the most worn pieces in my closet are from Free People—I kid you not. I just spent a good chunk of time scrolling through the Free People offerings and selected 19 standouts that I’d buy in an instance (some of which I already own). Keep scrolling to shop along with me and prepare to hear “Where’d you get that?” every time you wear them.
FP Movement
Pippa Packable Puffer Jacket
I own this jacket in several colors and wear it constantly for things like errands, pilates classes, and dog walks. It’s the perfect weight and fit and comes in tons of chic colors.
Free People
We the Free Good Luck Mid-Rise Barrel Jeans
The rumors are true—these under-$100 jeans are incredible. (Even J.Lo owns them.)
Free People
We the Free Avery Vegan Suede Jacket
This looks like genuine suede—but for much less of an investment.
Free People
We the Free Laydown Chino Pants
I don’t know about you but I think my spring wardrobe needs a pair of butter yellow pants.
Free People
Lowen Midi Skirt
This pretty skirt sold out last year, so Free People did the smart thing and made it in more colors.
Free People
Nocturnal Solid Cardi
Another item I own in multiple colors—powder pink is next on my list.
Free People
Margot Convertible Maxi Skirt
Convertible as in you can wear it as a skirt or a dress. More bang for your buck indeed.
Free People
We the Free Good Good Stripe Turtleneck
I could see myself still wearing this ten years from now.
Free People
We the Free Level Up Slit Slim Flare Jeans
Flare jeans are back, and Free People is a great place to buy them from.
