If 2024 was the year of Kendall Jenner’s corporate cosplay, 2025 is shaping up to be a little less boardroom and a bit more Bob Dylan. In a departure from her usual clean-girl attire, Jenner is leaning into A Complete Unknown territory. Putting her own spin on the singer’s ’60s era–albeit wearing The Row and with a Birkin on her arm–Jenner seems to be embracing the influence of her honorary brother-in-law, Timothée Chalamet.
Of course, Timmy himself has been method-dressing on the red carpet during his recent promo tour, from the blond hair and beanie that he sported for the New York premiere–paying homage to a Dylan look from the 2003 Sundance Film Festival—to his large collection of useless skinny scarves.
Unsurprisingly, Jenner has taken more of a fashion-led approach to the look, via on-trend suede jackets and Khaite’s straight-leg jeans, while also seemingly backing a baker boy hat revival. Whether this is a subtle pivot to a career in songwriting–they say dress for the job you want–or she’s simply listening to Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door on heavy rotation, we’re on board with Kendall Jenner’s new direction. Although Dylan’s infamous long fingernails would probably be a step too far.
