Meghan Markle has long mastered the art of laid-back luxury—as shown during a series of appearances over the weekend at the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver. While attending the wheelchair basketball event on Sunday, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out in a pair of Veronica Beard skinny-flare jeans, teamed with a navy jumper from La Ligne and heeled boots by Stuart Weitzman.
The royal’s love affair with denim is well documented, spanning everything from the ever-divisive skinny jean to co-ord sets. And who could forget that for her very first public appearance with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto, back in 2017, Meghan wore a pair of ripped jeans from Mother Denim, teamed with her white “Husband” shirt from friend Misha Nonoo’s eponymous brand.
Beyond her love of denim, Meghan is known for re-wearing and reinterpreting her favorite pieces. Her loyalty to Veronica Beard dates back to the late 2010s, and she was first spotted wearing her Stuart Weitzman boots back in 2017. Meanwhile, the royal also revisited another favorite brand for the Invictus Games Opening Ceremony via a coat from Sentaler—a Canadian label she’s worn a number of times over the years. Meghan’s commitment to her wardrobe staples only proves the age-old adage: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
