Super Bowl LIX is just hours away! Tonight, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are set to battle for NFL supremacy in New Orleans. The big stage will see Patrick Mahomes’s Kansas City Chiefs and Jalen Hurt’s Philadelphia Eagles compete, 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift and her besties cheer on her beau Travis Kelce, and a halftime performance by Kendrick Lamar and SZA. In other words, we’re all in for a treat!
While the game is bound to be exciting, here at Vogue we’re curious to see how the players will dress with all eyes on them. The tunnel at the Super Bowl is arguably the hottest runway of the season (and happens to coincide with New York Fashion Week). If the 2024–2025 season indicates the looks we can anticipate on the biggest night of football season, we’re bound to see some very memorable fits. This season has been a stylish playground for athletes, with players leaning into expressing themselves through fashion. Notably, 2024–2025 was also the season the NFL hired its first-ever fashion editor, Kyle Smith. From a unique take on traditional suiting seen on Devonta Smith to bold prints on Pat Surtain II, each game-day look was a winning choice in its own right.
