The PhotoVogue Festival, the first conscious fashion photography festival that focuses on the common ground between ethics and aesthetics, returns for its eighth edition. From March 6th to 9th, 2025, BASE Milano will host a series of exhibitions and talks analysing the interrelation between humans and Nature, and the relations of kinship we can create with animals, complemented by satellite events at the city’s finest galleries.
“A Vision Beyond Reality” is part of The Tree of Change, a series of slideshows, videos, and contributions from organisations dedicated to environmental advocacy. The series includes also: “Vital Impacts – The Nature of Hope”, “The Ghost Rainforest” by Earthrise Studio, “Metaphysics of Mixture” by Institute for Postnatural Studies, “The Essence of Prix Pictet”, “Human Visions” by PHmuseum, “End Time Project” by Charlie Hamilton James ,“CondéFuture”, “Square Mile” by VII Foundation, “Latin American Fashion Awards”, “Nautilus Presents: Biodiversity: Though the Lens”, “Wild Summon” by Karni and Saul.
Synopsis
Art has the power to reimagine the world, to reveal unseen dimensions, and to create a bridge between the tangible and the ethereal. In this immersive slideshow, Elizaveta Porodina, in collaboration with Atmos, presents a series of images photographed for Atmos Volume 09: Kinship that transcend the limits of traditional photography, offering a hypnotic exploration of color, form, and emotion.
Through her signature dreamlike lens, Porodina’s work blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy, drawing viewers into a universe where light and shadow dance, and where the human connection to nature is reinterpreted through surreal and emotive compositions. This presentation is an invitation to pause, reflect, and step into a world shaped by feeling—one where nature, art, and imagination merge into a singular vision of beauty and transformation.
