A Very Marc Jacobs Night Out at The Manner

As strobe lights flashed and a range of techno-pop tracks by Memphy and The Frost Children permeated through the scene, guests toasted to one of the first major gatherings of New York Fashion Week.

The Manner’s Sloane Bar set the stage for Marc Jacobs’ post-show extravaganza, with a fashionable melange of models fresh from the runway at the New York Public Library, drag queens, nightlife impresarios, and friends of the brands enjoying one of the bar’s specialty martinis in the moody space.

Behind leafy green vegetation interspersed throughout, a series of moody enclaves were home to well-dressed attendees taking a break from the dancefloor. Reclining with a drink, Amanda Lepore said elatedly, “I feel fabulous! This is always fun for me—to go out and dress up for fashion week,” shining in a skintight look and her recognizable red lip.

Guests across circles of fashion, art, and entertainment, including Hunter Schafer, Dascha Polanco, Aweng Chuol, Chloe Wise, Jordan Daniels, Tina Leung, and Alioune Badara Fall, were in attendance to support the designer after his opening showcase.

The event also provided an opportunity for the launch of the Dual Bag, a new accessory unveiled on the runway before being spotted on various outfits around the space. A night of booming bass, triumphant looks, and echoing laughter set the stage for the buzzy marathon of shows and events to come.
