Synopsis
A first-of-its-kind enrichment and mentorship program from Condé Nast, CondéFuture presents student artwork at the PhotoVogue Festival. Led by Condé Nast’s creative and editorial teams, CondéFuture is a groundbreaking global initiative designed to inspire and nurture the next generation of multimedia creative talent. Launched in New York City in 2021 in partnership with the nonprofit Educational Alliance, the program targets high school students from underrepresented communities, offering a free, two-year enrichment and mentorship experience led by Condé Nast professionals.
Students engage with industry experts from iconic brands like Vogue, Allure, Teen Vogue, them., GQ, and others, exploring creative passions in photography, video, social media, fashion, digital design, and more. The program’s mission is to unlock
the creative potential within each student, supporting their paths toward higher education and career aspirations. Together with PhotoVogue, CondéFuture is part of Condé Nast’s Education and Community initiatives, working to create opportunities for individuals historically underrepresented in media. The program promotes visual literacy, knowledge sharing, and the discovery of new talent. Participants benefit from mentorship by Condé Nast professionals, gaining invaluable insights and connections that can lead to internships and career opportunities within the industry.
At the 9th annual PhotoVogue Festival, CondéFuture students and alumni showcase their work, including photography and video pieces inspired by the 2024 global open call, “Tree of Life: A Love Letter to Nature.” This collaboration highlights the program’s commitment to empowering emerging talent and celebrating creative excellence.
